Toys Story

When Pixar were starting to develop the animation more longer by capable of making feature film.That later brought the idea for inital talk with disney to make Toy Story from the element of the short film Tin Toy.
Since the company Pixar never planned to make film that was 81 minutes long base on the frame rate. The company decided to ahead that Disney asked them to make using the storyline of Tin Toy.As the animation that Disney and Pixar argeed to make sequal version of Tin Toy Christmas later on called it Toys Story.

From the later development Toys Story was planned throw out the whole production by changing the dynamic of the characters from Tin Toy from characters called Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
Since the film began with animated storyboard by helping to guide the animators throw development using the badgets of 110 staff. By challenging animators to build every geometric shapes in 3-D from the planning of the film based on environments and characters. As each character were modeled with clay, by planning aimated storyboard by helping to guide the animators developing the characters using 27 animators towards making the film ,using 400 computers to model by animating to make the characters,since Lassetar wanted to everything to be realistic from a world sence of history .

As each of the character from Toys Story had to be modeled articulation and motion control that were to be coded by able to allow each characters to move in a variety of ways realistic in human action. Since one of the most complicted character is Woody that he was required 723 motion controls from 212 for his face and 58 for his mouth.
Even to sync the characters facial expression towards adding the actors voices as the animators spent a week per 8 seconds of animation. After the animators completed the sences by developing a new storyboard later aimators started adding shading,lighting,visual effects and last finally used 300 computers to processe the rendering of the film.

Which later released Novemeber 1995 ,from budget of $30 million later became worldwide towards $361,958,736 box office.As the film beacome sensacion hit from a first 3-D film in History.As considered to be one of the greatest and most revolutionary film in history of animation.

Knick Knack

Knick Knack is 5th short that animated film ,directed by John Lassester. Which is final short Pixar made film from a hardware company where premiered in 1989 with SIGGRAPH.Until the success of Toys Story.

As the animation of the storyline starts of on a bookshelf filled with vacation souvenirs of toys having fun as a Snowman name Knick is in a globe sitting by itself. By later seeing a doll in a bikini gaining attention by pointing out Knick to join in,as the snowman method is to break out of the globe. Throwing ramming the igloo to breaking the glass, throw later using the hammer from the snowman carrot nose. Which dose not go accroding to plan by trying to escape as the last and final escape is using the TNT which blast of in an explosion causing the globe to tip over the egde of the shelf by falling down , while twisting the globe by the time Knick found an exit door. When escaping Knick found himslef free by landing on fishbowl later walking towards seeing a pretty mermaid as finally being free before it was too late. As the globe went in by trapping Knick for the second time.

Tin Toy

Tin Toy is the forth short film animation that Pixar made during 1988 directed by John Lasseter. Using the first element of human form in 3-D.As the animation of Tin Toy was originally planned as ''A Tin Toy Christmas'' for half-hour long television special.
Later won an Academy Award for ther Best Animated Short in 1989 from the first computer generated animation to receive an Oscar.

As the short film is based on living room as the mechanical one-man band name Tinny,and the baby name Billy. Between interacting two characters as the expression when Tinny is delighted to play with Billy until until his expression changes when he find out how destructive Billy can be.As Tinny slowly ecsapes from Billy by hiding beneath the couch.As Billy trys to catch Tinny, when Tinny discovers dozen of other Toys were terrified to come out throw same experience. As Tinny soon realised when Billy was crying on the hardwood floor, Tinny later fealt bad as he decided to play with Billy. Since Billy picked up Timmy by shaking him violently later put Timmy on the floor gently as Billy had somthing to play around was a cardboard box by running off with the bag on his head as Tinny follows while the credits sequence roll with animator name.

Red's Dream

Red's Dream is a short animated film that produce by Pixar Animation studio after the making Juxo Jr , later became well known for its company after naming the company pixar, which was released in 1987. As known for Pixar short animated feature film with an organic character using the circus clown name Lumpy.

According to Lasseter in the short's audio commentary, Ed Catmull wanted the Pixar staff to make a film using the Pixar Image Computer and the rendering software Chapreyes. Lasseter began to develop the story of a circus clown who is upstaged by his own unicycle while at the same time, animators William Reeves and Eben Ostby starting working on their own separate ideas. Ostby had wanted to animate a bicycle, and Reeves began working on a city during a rainy night. Ultimately, the three combined their ideas, which resulted in the creation of Red's Dream

Luxo Jr is a small animation that was produece after the seconde animation that john laccetar had made of Adventure of Andre and Wally B.As the animation of Juxo is a brand of a task light lamp that inspired John Lassestar on his desk to make story,design,model and animate of his idea of Juxo Jr (small lamp).That become the first successful 3-D animation using realistic object and lighting.

As the animation shows Luxo Jr (small lamp) interacting with the bigger lamp by playing together with the small inflated rubber ball. As the Juxo jr (small Lamp) is chasing the ball and trying to balancing from top of the ball,as the inflating ball gose down.As soon later Juxo jr wonders to find bigger size inflating ball by playing around with it, at the end.

From that year The Graphic Group became known as Pixar.Using the animation of Luxo Jr (small Lamp) later used as an element icon logo for Pixar. That later established the industry, as later generation of time become known for its 3-D animation.

The Adventures of André and Wally B is first short animated 1.52 minutes film that was created by Pixar before known as The Graphic Gruop from 1984 from 100% animated short film. That was directed by Alvy Ray Smith,as from produced animation and character design by John Lasseter.

As the Animation is based around the character named André which is mentioned from the title of the film.Where film starts off in the forest When Andre starts waking up as the sun rises as suddenly the Bee name Wally B distract Andre by trying to chase him. As he eventually catches up until the bee stings him off the screen.Which later Wally B re-appears with a bent stinger,by later getting hit by Andre by tossing his hat from last laugh.

Research Portfolio

My Research Portfolio is based on the development of Pixar studio animation. How Pixar become well known for worldwide of 3-D animation ,from the maker of Toys Story to Cars 2.
Which I later became inspired by the company from its Visual 3-D movie from my long time childhood favorite film of Toys story.

As the company Pixar is an American computer animation film studio where based in originally Eneryville Caliofnia. Where Pixar was founded as The Graphic Group where it became one third of the computer Division of Lucasfilm that was founded by George Lucas. From the Graphics groups which launched in 1979 with hiring Dr.Ed Catmull who is a computer scientist that contributed to many important developments in computer graphic along side with Alvy Ray
Smith.
Pixar's studio in Emeryville:
As the future development of 2-D cel animation became easier combining with technology from computer base. As began working in sequence by producing film for Lucasfilm company. By the time John Lasseter was known to make his first short 3-D film called The Adventures of André and Wally B.(1984) That later became ground breaking , helped spark the company idea to make computer animation. Naming the idea called Pixar, as the time Steve job was involve by purchasing to pay the company $5 million after shorty leaving company with Apple in 1986.

Since later years Job often consider selling Pixar to various company since the company was loosing money by being threatened out of business.By time Pixar later became partner with Walt Disney feature Animation as the studio corporates partner from all time history. By time Disney asked Pixar to make a 3-D film from over 80 minutes of time as the company didn't plan the whole idea of time rate of frame and production quality. Since going ahead with the action of budget $30 million from the company first film, which later made a worldwide success over $361,958,736.

As over the years Pixar and Disney company became partner together to produce many 3-D film from Bugs life,Toys Story 2,Monstar Inc,Finding Nemo, The Incredible ,Cars , Ratatouille,WALL
E,UP,Toys Story 2 and Cars 2.

Steve Job:

By the time during January 24 2006 Disney had agreed to buy Pixar for approximately $7.4 billion in an all-stock deal. Follwing the Pixar shareholder approval from Steve Job approval since holding the position as Pixar's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer was removed later
took place on Disney board of directors.
As later on Disney was known for making most of the 3-D movie that Pixar produced from the studio distributed by Disney's name.
